The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) Recycling Awards recognize outstanding paper recycling efforts. In 2010 AF&PA will award a business, community, and school with a cash prize, framed original artwork, and local and national recognition. Winners, who will be announced in March, will also be featured on the paperrecycles.org website.

The AF&PA Recycling Awards are an integral part of industry efforts to increase paper recovery. Thanks to the efforts of those responsible for the programs recognized by the awards and to millions of Americans, a record 57.4 percent of the paper consumed in the U.S. was recovered for recycling in 2008.
