Committed to recycling? Tell us about it.
The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) Recycling Awards recognize outstanding paper recycling efforts. In 2009 AF&PA will recognize a business, a community, a school, and a college or university.

AF&PA Recycling Award winners will receive a cash prize and framed original. In addition, winners will be featured in national and local media outlets and on the paperrecycles.org website.

The AF&PA Recycling Awards are part of the industry’s efforts to increase paper recovery. Thanks to the dedication of millions of Americans who recycle every day, a record-high 56 percent (54.3 million tons) of the paper consumed in the U.S. was recovered for recycling in 2007. While this is a significant achievement, the industry has set a new goal to recover 60 percent by 2012.
